Blue Point Grille, located in the heart of The Historic Warehouse District, is renowned for serving the highest quality seafood sourced daily from both coasts.     Wonderful experience. Celebrated a birthday and they made it special. Be aware, however, that for our party of 6, we were automatically charged 18% gratuity. No one said anything, so we left a 22% tip on top of that. The 18% notification was in small print on the receipt, but we missed it.

    Always excellent food and service. Unfortunately the new Sherwin Williams building blocks what used to be a great view of the Terminal Tower and skyline.

    Above and beyond. Server and Rachael manager really were looking out for best interest of guest and the guest experience. This is why we choose to dine here time and time again!! The quite simply “get it” and get it done well!!

    We visited this restaurant last year, and it was fabulous. However, this year, the food just was honestly, not good. The oysters on the half shell were fine, the service was good, the drinks were very good, but the king crab legs, grouper, and halibut were just terribly overcooked. After sending crab legs back, they replaced them with a grouper that was a very poor cut, and also overdone. It was so disappointing because last year the food was excellent. Not at all worth the price of the entrée dishes.

    Professional restauranters are running this restaurant. This is old school service. Front end staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Managers are attentive. Bartender is a pro. Our apps (we had 4 I'm embarrassed to admit) were excellent. The crab app and the mushroom gnocchi app (available in bar) were outstanding. My entre (grouper) was very salty but I will give that a pass because everything else was excellent. If you are seeking an old school fine dining experience with knowledgeable and personable wait staff in Cleveland, it is basically down to Johnny's on Fulton and Blue Point. I put this place on a level with several first rate restaurants in Manhattan and Washington D.C.
