    We were disappointed in our visit to Blue Point. While the bar is beautiful, the service excellent and the ambiance lovely, the food was a disappointment. Ordered the ahi tuna appetizer. The tuna was way over seasoned and the seasoning resembled Italian dressing. It definitely had too much oregano. Since it was a featured item, I ordered the lobster thermidor. While the it was full of chunks of lobster, there was a ton of salt on the lobster. I was only able to eat a few bites. My husband had a few but agreed that it was way too salty. Since we were headed to a game, I didn’t want to send the meal back and wait for another. It seems obvious that the kitchen is not tasting the food being sent out. The dessert menu was dated and underwhelming. While I understand the restaurant wants to stay true to their seafood dishes, there is a great opportunity to offer unique dessert options. Additionally, the cocktail menu could use an update. At $19 plus for a mixed drink, it would be nice to have some modern options. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now feeling dated. As one of the most expensive restaurants in Cleveland, I would expect more attention to the food quality and making the various menus more interesting.

    Food was very good. Service was "OK' and it took a while for the food to come out. Would still visit again. Nice experience.

    Everything was great. We enjoyed ourselves! I tried the sea bass and polenta! Very good. Our waitress was very attentive and on point!

    Service was the best. My wife's scallops were perfect. I felt my crab was a little too mild and I like a little more ' kick' to my Wedge Salad but it was OK. Great atmosphere.

    Amazing food. Amazing service. Everything that came out of the kitchen was on point. Came in for a late NYE dinner. The restaurant was relatively busy but the kitchen kept up firing out nothing but perfect plates.
