    Celebrated New Year’s Eve and more importantly my wife’s retirement. Had a great time. Place isn’t cheap, but service and food is worth it for a special occasion.

    The server was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations and was on top of everything. The appetizers were fantastic and 3 out of the 4 dinners came out perfect. The birthday desserts that they gave us were delicious. Unfortunately it was the birthday girls dinner that came out over cooked. Her filet was supposed to be med rare and came out medium plus-closer to the med well side. The manager offered to have it fixed but the birthday girl declined. They ended up taking it off of the bill, which was very nice of them and definitely not expected at all. I had the filet and lobster tail and substituted the sides for the crab mac & cheese and brussels sprouts. My dinner was absolutely amazing and I only ended up eating half because I was so full. So when the server came over and offered to take the plates out of the way, I assumed he was taking them to box up. since I still had half of both side dishes, and half of my filet. When he came back and started grabbing the other dishes from the table, I asked if he was boxing mine up or if he had thrown it away. He in fact had thrown it away. I suppose that was my fault for not initially telling him I wanted a box but also with half of my food sitting in front of me I was under the impression that he just would.

    Scallops and Chilean Sea Bass were poor. Taste was terrible and the food was served cold. We received our food within minutes of placing the order.

    As always, a great experience! Blue point is as fine as seafood restaurant as one would find on the East Coast! The service is outstanding and has remained so over the years! A true Jim that reflects what good service and I fine establishment should be like! A gym in the city of Cleveland!
