Located on the north side of Main Street Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro provides a casually sophisticated dining atmosphere with a little city in the mountains. Chef Dante's local ingredients, talented culinary team and unorthodox approach to cooking combine to create a truly memorable experience for you and your guests. The Bistro's wine list is an ever rotating selection of the best vineyards from around the globe and the cocktail list has been carefully crafted to take the guest on a journey of flavors and scents. Service, food, atmosphere, were all outstanding. There was a jazz duo which made a splendid evening absolutely perfect!

Creative menu. Food presentation was excellent. Menu notations very helpful for diners with food sensitivities. Server was cordial and attentive. Relaxed, modern ambience. Excellent dining experience.

The food was good but definitely overpriced for the quality. When you drop $50+ on an entree you expect a little bit better. My plate said risotto but it was white rice with the pork chop. The sea bass was decent but not memorable. I’d maybe go back for apps & drinks. Live music was good!

Apparently they did not haeve enough waiters - I think one waiter was covering 10 tables and not well. I t took 20 minutes to get a botyle of red wine an ice bucket as they store red wine at room temp. the waiter broke the cork on a 2021. It was abut 1;2 hour before we were able to order appetizers. Meanwhile a coue sat down to the left and right to us were served. I ordered calamari ands it was not battered and deep fried but small white slices that were fishy. it took 20 minutes for the waiter to come back to inquire. Then, he said he would not take it off the bill - no apology no can I get you something elsel They had a part of 6 50 year olds that were drunk and screaming through he entire dinner and the staff seemed to encourage it. Another 1/2 hour goes by and they brought we an over done pork chop SERVICE HIORRIBLE FOD MEDIOCRE NOISY UNDERSTAFFED

Dinner was wonderful. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. However, the pumpkin cake we chose for dessert disappointed us. It differed from what we expected; it was too heavy and dense after a heavy meal. I have been going to Blue River Bistro for years and have always enjoyed it.
