    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Boat House…the food was amazing, and our server was truly AWESOME! However…the hostess that walked around with an iPad, pausing at each table and evaluating the progression of the meal was unnerving. Several times, she paused at our table, rearranged an empty chair, looked at all of our plates, made a note on her iPad, and walked away without saying a word. She came around many times while we were seated, and it honestly took away from our experience and made us very uncomfortable.

    No options for vegan on the menu - kitchen accommodated but it was basically spaghetti with tomatoes and peas and no flavor - charged a regular dinner price. Not a good experience.

    Our waitress was professional and delightful. The drinks were superb. Unfortunately, our calamari appetizer was chewy…not so much that we sent it back, but we’ve had better. My wife’s meal was good but my burger and fries arrived cold. Must have sat in the window for a while. The waitress brought out another meal, but by then the ambiance was broken. Now this semi-disappointing meal was in stark contrast to a wonderful dinner we had there last week. I guess it all comes down to which chef was on duty.

    Everything was just fabulous. Remains one of my favorite dining spots even though it can get a little noisy.

    Our waiter Timmy was spot on. He kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the simply grilled swordfish. I wasn’t 100% happy with it because it was loaded with black pepper which masked the taste of the swordfish. I also wish there  was more of a vegetable selection besides brussels sprouts and asparagus. I will definitely be back for my birthday in March..

    We had a great waitress, sat at a table with a view of the water…..all meals were great, even ended with a scoop of gelato!
