Borealis Grille & Bar serves the very best of locally crafted foods and beverages. We bring "The Taste of Ontario”, the highest quality of fresh products from Ontario farmers, breweries and wineries to our guests each and every day. We carry a great combination of lunch and dinner items to chose from, with an assortment of 20 Micro Brews on tap and a selection of Ontario's top wineries. This combined with a deep respect for local heritage and craftsmanship and an unwavering dedication for sustainability has given us an award wining recipe.
There are 5 things we consider when we choose what goes on our menu:
1)Taste. Superior quality, taste and freshness from buying local.
2)Health. Whole foods are more nutritious, period.
3)Environment. Less transport, less waste, lower carbon footprint.
4)Community. Trusted relationships with local farmers, brewers and wine makers.
5)Economy. Buying local supports, strengthens, and diversifies our regional economy.

Great evening. Grateful for all the staff who served but behind the scene. Food was excellent. Very busy night with high expectations. Perfection. We were all very grateful.

Wonderful dining experience. Great teamwork on behalf of the staff. We ordered the short ribs and the steak frites and the soup of the day and everything was cooked excellently . It was New Years and they did a fantastic job with the kids countdown to New Years!

Overall the food was super yummy and the service was great but it was a bit louder then I expected and we were rather in the open for something I booked as a business meeting.

Nice feel to the space & great service. Luigi is entertaining! Others at my table really enjoyed their food but the cost of the chicken added to an entree was not listed. And my chicken taco salad was very dry. I don’t think it had salsa or vinaigrette on it.

Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. With our party of 6, reservation for 4:45 pm, our food arrived very late. Lots of apologies with complentary desserts to share. We were sitted on the upper level along the outside wall, it was a bit chilly on the neck and back. Overall, good experience.

I came early and was seated right away I didn't have to wait. The server was excellent. The food was five star and my party of 4 all enjoyed their meals.
