Borealis Grille & Bar serves the very best of locally crafted foods and beverages. We bring "The Taste of Ontario”, the highest quality of fresh products from Ontario farmers, breweries and wineries to our guests each and every day. We carry a great combination of lunch and dinner items to chose from, with an assortment of 20 Micro Brews on tap and a selection of Ontario's top wineries. This combined with a deep respect for local heritage and craftsmanship and an unwavering dedication for sustainability has given us an award wining recipe.
There are 5 things we consider when we choose what goes on our menu:
1)Taste. Superior quality, taste and freshness from buying local.
2)Health. Whole foods are more nutritious, period.
3)Environment. Less transport, less waste, lower carbon footprint.
4)Community. Trusted relationships with local farmers, brewers and wine makers.
5)Economy. Buying local supports, strengthens, and diversifies our regional economy.

We have been a few times for diner. Portion sizes are reasonable, tasted good , and server was great. The wait time between the apps and main was a bit long. Only complaint is you are right on the next tables shoulders so it seems less intimate. Other than that enjoyed our night out for Valentine’s Day.

The food and service were excellent - top-notch! The value was surprising too and I love that they source local products. My steak and garlic parmesan fries were the best I can remember having in a long time. My wife had the mushroom rigatoni with pesto and goat cheese and raved about it too. I would only change one thing and add another dessert option, maybe a tiramisu, sweet pazzo or bread pudding. I can't wait to visit again!

Our group had a good experience at lunch. We particularly enjoyed having a round table as we were 5. Conversation is more inclusive. Thank you! The food was perfect. The waiter had a few minor slip ups but they were corrected very quickly and efficiently. Thanks for another good dining experience!

Love everything about Borealis with the exception of the "gluten friendly" code on the menu. It's way to tiny and faint to read in low restaurant lighting. And call it "gluten free" instead of "gluten friendly" which is a confusing phrase if you are avoiding gluten.
