Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. The place was beautiful appetizers were great soup and polenta but We had soup delivered with no spoons we asked for spoons but it was brought to us quite long after It was a long time before we received water and took long for water to be refilled We received chicken with out the knife to cut The chicken had hot pepper chili flakes on it we asked for chicken without spice and were willing to wait for new one but new chicken was not fully cooked we showed the waiter and he saw and agreed it would be taken off but he left it on the bill we had to remind him that we didn’t eat it and wanted it removed and he did remove it Our waiter was very nice but service was just to slow Chocolate lava cake took way to long to come out

A Yountville staple, it was great returning to Bottega especially for the holidays. While it was a bit loud, the cocktails, food and service didn’t disappoint. I however was a little bummed about the portion sizes., feeling like they were very small. Beyond that, I’d recommend this dining experience.

Our server Chante was amazing. Very knowledgeable, good conversation and had great recommendations and pairing suggestions. Chef Alex Espinoza was great as always. Highly recommend the crab pasta dish and the porterhouse.

Murph was an outstanding server—genuine, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. The dining experience was exceptional, with a diverse menu full of incredible options. Every dish felt like a comforting taste of home—absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to come back soon!

We have been to this restaurant a number of times over the years. It is fine but nothing special. It seemed the menu was a bit limited. The staff kept using an exterior door near our table to bring orders to addition guests (a bit of a shortcut). The door was left open several times and it was a bit chilly. I finally got up, slammed it shut and said “not a mistake, a statement”. The staff then shut the door, locked it and stopped using it. With all that said, the food was very good.

Food and ambiance were great but our waiter Murph was the star of the evening. He was extremely knowledgeable about what to order and was very entertaining.
