Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections.

While the branzino was delicious it was supposed to be deboned...however we found some small pieces.

The food and service were wonderful. Although the noise level was very high because the restaurant was packed and tables closed together. Hoping to come back soon when it’s not so crowded.

Nice ambiance, polite and attentive service. Food is not worth the price. We ordered the gnocchi which was nothing special and the tomahawk steak which was undercooked and had little flavor. The steak came with mashed potatoes which also had little flavor. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was practically rare.

Our server was knowledgeable of the menu. He addressed our food allergies and made food recommendations. The food was delicious! The staff was attentive. We did not feel rushed. They had an anniversary card propped up for us.

We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. I was worried it would be cold, but they did a good job with heat lamps throughout and a beautiful fire. The meal was tasty, highly recommend the lava cake for dessert - worth the wait!
