We are delighted to have added additional outdoor seating but Santa Barbara nights are chilly so bring a sweater or light jacket!

Fresh, local ingredients, prepared with care. Excellent wines that reflect the quality and character of our region and work in concert with the cuisine. Warm, inviting ambiance, service at a relaxed, leisurely pace. Santa Barbara ‘Wine Country Cuisine’ means we source our ingredients using an ‘as-fresh-and-as-local-as-possible’ approach, with fish from the Santa Barbara Channel and produce from the surrounding countryside. We then take into account how these flavors can be presented in concert with our local wines. We believe you’ll taste the difference. Bon Appètit!

    Lovely dinner for 2 last night. We sat inside, it was quiet which we were seeking, and the service was excellent. We each had the wild mushroom ragout for appetizer, I had the fish of the day a good local sea bass on lentils, husband had the venison. Both very good. Huge selectiob of local wines, a nice atmosphere, good food, what more could you ask for. Highly recommended.

    Bouchon is a small “inside” restaurant with an outdoor extension that currently includes sidewalk area seating. Outdoor is heated, so on a not so warm evening, it can still be comfortable. Located near the theater, on event nights, parking can be challenging, but usually there is street parking a couple of blocks away, if the lots are full. Food is top quality and well prepared. Extensive wine list highlights regional wines as well as international favorites. Simple menu without a lot of flash, just well prepared favorites and local seafood. Great place for single dining or group dining as the indoor dining area has both intimate and open seating configurations. A go to place in Santa Barbara as many years in business will attest.

    The crab cakes and the rack of lamb were both outstanding and equaled by the excellent service. Portions were more than ample, easily shared by two. Superior dining experience.
