The Boulder Cork Restaurant has provided quality food and excellent service since 1969. The restaurant is now one of Colorado’s most renowned dining experiences. The casual, yet attentive atmosphere is the perfect place to spend a special evening, be it to relax with friends or entertain business associates. Our banquet facilities can accommodate large groups with the quiet proficiency and superior quality that has become the hallmark of The Boulder Cork. The food is an impressive display of creativity and variety, masterminded by the chef, Jim Smailer. Chef Smailer has created an enticing offering of steaks, prime rib, chicken, pasta, and fresh fish selections; all on the cutting edge of culinary delight. The food is as fresh as the market allows. The true epicurean will agree that our efforts are apparent to both the eyes and the palate, from the appetizer through the handmade desserts.

The food, service and ambience are excellent! It is a busy place so the noise level is not super quiet. Prices are high.

No thanks! Never aging. First off it’s like a retirement facility. Food is tasteless and bland- but at a premium price. We’ll never go back. On paper this place looks great. In person awful. Prime rib 3/4 fat. Zero flavor. No thanks. Unless you are 65 and over pass.

Enjoyed the experience and the staff was friendly. The Server needed more training and got one of the meals incorrect. They reduced the price as a way to make it up which was very professional. Will go back again.

Great dinner with happy hour prices. The saki salmon was cooked perfectly and delicious. We were seated in a quiet area. The staff tuned in to the age of my friend(93) and seated us in a quiet area. Wait staff were attentive. The Cork is a long time Boulder classic.

We picked this restaurant because it was listed in a search for steak restaurants in Boulder, CO. It was a wonderful surprise to learn it was the same restaurant I used to enjoy as a special place to go when I lived in this area during college at CU in the early 70's! The food was delicious, service excellent, and birthday dessert for my husband was HUGE and more than enough to share with all of us!

Great meal, great setting and service. My steak was perfectly cooked and all of the sides were outstanding. Dessert (mud pie) was huge and not overly sweet. Wonderful experience and we’ll be back!
