Bramble & Hare, the original Farmhouse Kitchen and Bistro, opened its doors in July 2012. Founded by Chef Eric Skokan and his wife, Jill, as the sister restaurant to their Black Cat Farm~Table~Bistro.

Bramble & Hare has a lively, warm atmosphere in its three charming dining rooms. It is located in the heart of Boulder, CO, just off the historic Pearl Street Mall.

Features a 3-course prix fixe menu with choices for each course, Hand-crafted, seasonal cocktails featuring artisanal spirits and local ingredients show the talent of our incredible bar team who make our restaurant spring to life.

The variety of produce and meats grown on their 425 acre certified Organic farm allows Chef de Cusine Heraclio Garza Silva a limitless palette of flavors, colors, and textures from which to build their award-winning cuisine.

It is humbling and reassuring to know that some restaurant professionals are willing to work this hard to produce high quality local cuisine. The farm to table concept is an added bonus. The price fixe menu was impeccably put together, and the resulting taste combination was nothing short of sublime. Excellent and knowledgeable waitstaff without a hint of pretentiousness. Thank you Bramble & Hare… we hope to be back for another special occasion!

Lovely building and ambience just off the Pearl St Mall. We used to go to the Black Cat back when that was the restaurant, but hadn't been back in many years. I was expecting more from the food, however. We got the pork and lamb and neither was exceptional. The side of vegetables WAS super fresh and I don't think I've ever tasted such good beets. The dessert was nice. But with tax and tip (excluding wine), it's $100/person and not really worth that.

We had a wonderful time dining at Bramble & Hare. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The service was excellent. We would definitely return!

My birthday is Christmas Day so we celebrated here the day after. Our server was very nice. We both enjoyed the three course meal. We even received complementary bubbles from my birthday. Was a nice evening.

We've been following Eric since the beginning of Black Cat. This just wasn't it. We have tried B & H previously, early days, before they merged dining rooms and didn't love it then so shame on us that we thought we'd love it now that it's taken over the Black Cat side, too. Service was awkward. Food was just OK with our main coming out after a very long wait, and meat was perhaps a bit overcooked (perhaps under the Salamander). Loved the key lime dessert, but when the bill came, there was an extra beer on there that we ordered but never received. The theme has an old house feel/ look but that doesn't mean the bathrooms can't be cleaned. They weren't awful, just smudges and grease when there shouldn't have been. We're so sad to write this review. We loved Black Cat and hope to try the Farm dinner sometime soon.
