    The server and food was excellent. The people sitting next to us were very loud, obnoxious and using profanity.

    Despite a reservation seated near the front of the restaurant, the busiest, noisiest, and coldest locations. Open Table noise ratings don’t reflect that energetic is actually an unpleasant experience, where one can’t enjoy conversation with fellow diners. Food was acceptable though not exceptional for the price and status of this level of dining. The blacken scallop dish consisted of 3 small scallops, some blackening, setting in a bed of cream corn. Entire dish lacked flavor. At least scallops were not over cooked.

    Our waiter was wonderful!! The Food was Over the Top Awesome!!! It could not have been any better!!!very impressive!!

    Great ambience and the service was impeccable. The food was very substandard. My wife and I both ordered steaks from the restaurant week menu and the taste and quality was very poor. Had to send one of them back because it was totally cooked wrong. That was not the main issue. The main issue was the quality of the meat which was substandard for a middle of the road steakhouse, let alone the Bristol who’s sister restaurant is J Gilberts.

    We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. We were seated near the open fireplace on a very cold winter day. The seafood we enjoyed was among the best we have dined on in the KC area. The salad and side dishes were really tasty. Our waitress was knowledgeable and was very attentive. Overall this was a great experience!!!
