Since 1977 Broginos has been a local destination for the South Bay and beyond. We proudly make all the sauces from scratch and our bread and pizza are made fresh daily. We offer many excellent wines from Italy and California and our full bar is famous for the best martinis in town. Broginos is family owned and we will keep it this way.

As I have posted on various review sites, this is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. Dinners in restaurants are all about time with the family over food. It is not unheard of for dinner to run 2 hours or longer. American restaurants are so rush rush rush let's see how many times we can turn a table. Not here. Not only is the food delicious, fresh, and authentic, the service is just as authentic. It is nice not feeling like you are being quickly fed to get you out the door for the next guest. This place is a true gem.

Food was not good. In fact it was gross. We ordered the chicken asparagus and the asparagus still had the woody part as if it was a main aspect of the meal, the sauce was not good and the spaghetti was sticking together, not cooked in parts. The spaghetti and meatballs was so bad that my kids had one bite and said he had enough. I tasted it and wished I hadn't and even after we got home I still wish I hadn't. It was just gross and almost spit it out immediately, I probably should have. The drinks weren't the worst I've ever had, but they also weren't great. Ambiance was nice, server was nice, prices were way too expensive especially considering how bad the food was. Frankly you'd have a better and less expensive experience at Olive Garden, and I think Olive Garden is gross.

So the important thing about Brogino’s is that you realize what you are signing up for. This is not a modern restaurant. This is not a fancy restaurant (consider bringing your own wine!). It is a classic, family, red sauce Italian joint. The food is heavy, the waiters friendly and the martinis massive. It is a tremendous value and is the kind of place a grandparent can treat their whole clan without setting back retirement. And no one will leave remotely hungry (it’s also great for teenagers). It is wonderful and perfect for what it is.

It was excellent. I brought 3 people with me who had never been to this restaurant. They raves about the food (and we are Italian). We went on a Wednesday night and there were few parties there. We all enjoyed it very much.

We used to love broginos, maybe because we stick to the same dishes. We decided to invite family for some good homestyle Italian food.. We were so embarrassed… How can you mess up Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken…. The chicken was horrible, flavorless, boiled chicken. An absolute shame that we held broginos to such a high standard and we’re completely embarrassed! Drinks are always a hit though.
