   Ristorante iconico e di tendenza. L’accoglienza è nella norma, così come il servizio al tavolo, comunque efficiente. Piatti di ottima qualità e porzioni generose. Consigliato.

   La comida y el servicio muy bien pero nos pusieron en una mesa muy incómoda. Atrapadas entre dos parejas, con nada de privacidad. Es verdad, que nuestra reserva era para más tarde y nos hicieron el favor de darnos una mesa antes pero nos disgustó que fuera en esas condiciones. Por lo demás muy bien…

   It’s not my first time at Buddakan and it will not be my last one. However, even if the staff has been very kind trying to accommodate us at a table downstairs, the vibe upstairs is just not the same. It took literally 1 hour the get the first round of hot tea (before any food was even delivered) which it came very cold. The food took in total 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Other than that, the server was pleasant and the food was good. Even though there is butter and milk in a lot of dishes, and since I have a dairy allergy I felt very limited.

   This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. This is THE LAST time I will eat or recommend to people traveling to NYC. From the hostess at the first greeting to the terribly rude server whom almost seemed annoyed to be working or serving our table of 3, it was a horrible experience. The Resturant was dead so it wasn't like it was busy. We didn't go late so it's was definitely not closing time. The food was subpar considering all the other times. I'm just so disappointed in this evening as I flew in to take the guest specifically from the upper west side all the way to have dinner there. never again and I will be sure to not recommend this Resturant to anyone living or visiting in the city. So sad as this used to be such a wonderful experience

   The wait staff was so friendly and lovely. The food was incredible. Timing of what foods to bring when was great. Ambiance great. Accommodated us to get the best seat in the house.

   Avevamo prenotato alle 20.30 ma ci hanno fatto aspettare più di mezz’ora prima di farci sedere e, nonostante le mie lamentele per la lunga attesa, non hanno fatto alcun gesto di cortesia per scusarsi del disservizio (potevano magari offrirci un aperitivo per fare pesare meno il ritardo nell’assegnazione del tavolo). Bella location e bella atmosfera ma la musica è troppo alta e non si riesce a parlare. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo ma il cameriere era poco sorridente e cordiale (alcuni ospiti non capivano bene l’inglese e lui invece di parlare più lentamente continuava a ripetere le cose velocemente senza dare alcun aiuto). Non credo che torneremo.

    A regular favorite of ours, the food is awesome. We did the prefix meal #3 and got all our favorites… even able to swap out one of the listed items for a preferred one. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend!!
