Butcher & Singer, in the amazing historic location of 1500 Walnut, is an intimate and sophisticated dining experience in a relaxed clubhouse setting.     Amazing service! Chris, our waiter, would always appear just when we needed something and had wonderful recommendations. Salads were AMAZING! Steaks were fire! Get the stuffed hashbrowns…shareable but so good you wont want to!

    Food was excellent as always, server was more pretentious than helpful but the rest of the staff was attentive and friendly

    We celebrate my mother’s birthday here almost every year, as it is one of her favorite restaurants. The steaks and seafood are always well prepared and the service is exceptional.

    The service and environment were great, as usual. The food and cocktails, also great. My only complaints, steak sauce, bernaise and dessert were not on par with everything else.

    Thank you Jeremy for your outstanding service. We enjoyed our dinner very much. The porterhouse was cooked perfectly. We love the biscuits. Overall we had a good experience at Butcher & Singer.

    Our waiter John was amazing and gave us the best recommendations on the menu. The food was outstanding! I’m still dreaming about the Caesar salad and stuffed hashbrowns!

    My wife and I went to Butcher & Singer for a belated birthday celebration and we could not be any happier with our experience. John was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and had great recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant is what attracted us to B&S. The restaurant was very true to the "old-Hollywood vibe" that was described and my wife and I loved it. Very intimate, quiet and private. (Our reservation was for 5:00 on a Saturday for reference). The drinks were excellent and the food was outstanding. We will be most definitely be back to Butcher & Singer on our next trip to Philly.
