Butcher & Singer, in the amazing historic location of 1500 Walnut, is an intimate and sophisticated dining experience in a relaxed clubhouse setting.     Delicious from start to finish! We raved about the house made biscuits which were were impossibly made better with a touch of the honey sweetened butter. Next, the Caesar salad was tasty but had a bit too much dressing. We were offered a special of bone-in ribeye which had the perfect sear and was cooked exactly to temperature. It was juicy and flavorful without needing any other accoutrements. We did, however add a lobster tail which was also absolute perfection. The stuffed hash browns (caramelized onions and a cheese I can’t recall) were a perfect blend of savory, crunchy and creamy but the Brussel sprouts weren’t anything to remember. And finally, dessert. The baked Alaska - Worth. Every. Calorie. The service was impeccable and friendly without being intrusive or overbearing. The atmosphere was refined yet comfortable. A beautiful experience all around.

    Beautiful space and outstanding service. All of the entrees - steaks, sea bass, lamb were delicious. Excellent wine list and servers that were present but unobtrusive. Can't wait to go back!

    Celebrated mine and a friends birthday with others and food and service exceeded our expectations! I work in the industry so my bar is high. Dirk was the absolute coolest and truly made our evening one to remember. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

    Great place to celebrate the holidays with our adult children before the Nutcracker. Service was spectacular. The biscuits and honey butter were straight from heaven.

    Very expensive for what you get. Everything is a la cart but the sides were nothing impressive. Very loud and cold inside.
