   I am a female dining alone. At some restaurants it is a waste of a table and they force a single diner to sit at the bar. Not at Butter, they sat me at a table where I could enjoy the restaurant’s atmosphere. Food was amazing. I recommend the Smoked Double Pork Chop. Make sure to get Jackie as a server. She was great…made me feel special! Overall, it was a superb experience.

   We came for an amazing meal and we were not disappointed. The duck confit was delicious, and our bombolone was the perfect way to end the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. We wanted for nothing.

   Food was very good. My husband had the best Beef Wellington of his life. The rolls with butter were top notch.

   Mediocre but tasty option in midtown. Cocktails were stellar, hostesses a little juvenile, full staff not educated on menu specifics

   Beautiful space, we had a delicious ribeye with a wonderful duck confit. Great menu and wine list. Glad we tried Alex’s restaurant!

   My wife is a fan of Chef Alex and said we must dine here, while we are in NYC for our honeymoon. So glad we did. Food was amazing, drinks were great, and the service was impeccable. Our server, Jackie recommended the rolls, gnocchi, and the pork chop. Hands down the best rolls and pork chop we’ve ever had. The gnocchi was great too but, I don’t eat gnocchi that often to say it was the best ever! Jackie even brought us complimentary glasses of champagne, once she she learned we were on our honeymoon! Definitely will return for a meal, during our next visit to NYC.

   My daughter did a reservation on this place because it was in one of the episodes Gossip Girl . The service is good . The food is not ! Not what I expected ! We had the grilled octopus for appetizer and it’s kinda burned . Even the our main dish . It’s not worth it ! We could have go somewhere else .

    Jasmine was a wonderful server. The food was exquisite and the ambience was perfect! Not too loud for a Saturday night. We had the Burrata for an appetizer and split the short ribs for an entree. The old fashioned cocktail was the best we’ve ever had!!
