A warm welcome to Byfords, a higgledy-piggledy world of pleasure consisting of an all-day continental-style café, delicatessen and posh B&B. Byfords offers an impressive range of food suitable for all taste buds. The menu features several favourite dishes, including pizzas, steaks, seafood, salads, and our signature house curry.     Enjoy the lead up to Christmas with a Festive High Tea! From Monday 2 December to Monday 23 December, the Café will transform into a magical winter wonderland. £32 per adult | £18 per child aged 6 - 11 | £11 per under 6's Served between 2pm and 5pm (bookings only). Please note: All afternoon tea bookings made between these dates will be the Festivitea High Tea. Please make us aware of any dietary requirements or if you have any children in your party the £10 is a deposit the rest of the payment will be due on the day

    There were 10 of us and the food, service and ambience were all impeccable as usual (despite it being really busy in the restaurant, as usual!). Byfords never disappoints - huge thumbs-up from all of us

    The afternoon tea was lovely, outstanding food and value, great choice of items especially the Macaron and the Chocolate black forest gateau. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The table was a little cramped and on a slope but suppose it all adds to the ambience. We shall return with our golden tickets in the new year! Thank you for another wonderful time at byfords.
