Whether it’s a day at the Dia Museum, or shopping the unique shops in Beacon, or hiking in the Highlands, or maybe you're visiting Beacon's Second Saturday, or perhaps a day spent at the Beacon waterfront - enjoy fine Hudson Valley dining at Café Amarcord in the Dutchess County revival City of Beacon. Off street parking and an outdoor patio for warm weather dining. Café Amarcord's warm comfortable decor and delightful food awaits your discovery. We serve late, till 11pm Friday and Saturday, so pull up to the glow of our Onyx topped bar and make yourselves at home.

                                              This is a fabulous restaurant. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. We enjoyed our meal and time together. We could easily carry on a conversation. We arrived an hour before our scheduled reservation which was a mistake on my part. They were gracious and accommodated us anyway. If you are in Beacon, make sure to stop here for a delicious meal and fantastic service.

                                              Overall it was a tremendous experience. Great date night without the kids. If you go, keep in mind that this is an experience meant to be savored. Total time at the restaurant clocked in at two hours. The restaurant clearly intends for your dining to be a drawn out experience, savored and relaxed, so plan accordingly.

                                              Loved the main dishes. Appetizers were good to very good. Bar is where it fell a little short -- wines by the glass were just "ok" and specialty mixed drink wasn't so special. But would definitely eat here again!
