Capture a magical moment of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s past as you dine in one of its most historic buildings. The four-diamond Cannery Restaurant of today is reminiscent of its former life as a canning factory in the 1800s, where Niagara peaches and tomatoes were canned until 1957. Chef Mark Longster continues to serve up the best of the region in his menus which feature the freshest local produce and fine wines. Chef Longsters food is prepared and presented perfectly, for your ultimate dining experience.

                                                                                                      We asked for a romantic table and were seated next to the fireplace. It was quiet and very cost. Staff was attentive and had excellent suggestions. Food was delicious. We had the Salmon and the roast beef. Both were perfectly cooked.

                                                                                                      Amazing food - the prime rib was cooked to perfection. (rare) and their local veggies are so good. Husband had the salmon over quinoa and he ate every single morsel it was that good. Shared a. Mocha crème brûlée for dessert. Our server Sue was so friendly, enjoyed talking to her. Definitely will return.

                                                                                                      Our meal was amazing. The striploin done to perfection (rare). Prime rib was best my husband has ever had. Service was attentive and professional. Ambience. Quite peaceful and very high end!!!! Definitely will return for another weekend !

                                                                                                      Delicious dinner, and excellent service. While a bit pricey, serving sizes are generous and it’s a good value if you go for the hotel’s dinner package option. Looking forward to returning!
