    Odd experience. Coming to the restaurant we entered and sat an everything seemed great. We wanted to order drinks and appetizer right away so we gave the lady our order. Which she tells us the kitchen doesn't like if we order appetizer first and then our main after. So we sat there for another 15 minutes deciding what we were going to eat instead of enjoying our time. Food presentation and taste was ok. I'd say the place is overrated and over priced. Upon delivering our food they explained all the dishes to 1 person and the rest had to ask what everything was on the plate. Overly not a great experience. Maybe the waitress was shy but the person should be mentored. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. Also the music was loud and I was placed on a corner where there was high traffic. And the waiters order desk was right beside us. Wouldn't do it again.

    All those meals were trash, 2 pieces of a cold meat with no taste . I didn’t want to argue and ruin our night

    A disappointing time at Canoe. Service was very good as was the main (Haida Gwaii albacore tuna). But the beef tartare was poor. Pretty plating, but the crispy sourdough while tasty was useless for conveying the beef. More importantly, the tartar was flavourless. The wine list also disappointed: unimaginative wines by the glass and very few reasonably priced bottles (as in $120 or less).

    Amazing Ambience, breathtaking city view, courteous staff and delicious food with striking flavors. The option of halal enabled us to try chef’s expertise in a beef stake. Dessert had a perfect balance of sweet and punch. Loved every bit of it!!!

    Went for an engagement celebration dinner with my fiancée, really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The only think I didn’t love was the washroom situation. It didn’t “smell great”… I Los didn’t love that it was outside of the restaurant.

    Birthday dinner and we were were not the only one's. I suspect a lot of people see Canoe as a high end splurge experience as I did. You pay for the view and the staff service and our server are pro's. The food was average and neither of us would order what we had and for that matter would not go back. At their price point they need to do a much better job.

    We recently celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at Canoe, and as always, it did not disappoint. This was our fifth visit, and it continues to impress us with its consistency and excellence. We opted for the tasting menu, and everything was remarkable—from the exquisite attention to detail in each dish to the impeccable service. The staff made us feel truly special, ensuring every aspect of our evening was perfect. The food was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. Every course offered a thoughtful combination of flavors and textures, showcasing the best of Canadian ingredients. Canoe remains a top choice for us, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Toronto. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, Canoe delivers a culinary experience that’s second to none.

    We had an excellent experience with high-quality service and a great atmosphere. The starter was fantastic; however, the main course was not our favorite, although it was still of good quality. Overall, it is definitely worth trying!
