Thierry & Patricia Moity previously owned Patou Bistro in Charlotte, NC & Cafe de Bruxelles in NYC. Chef Thierry has been cooking since age 13 in some of the finest restaurants in Europe & USA. His cuisine is influenced by many traditions; Patricia comes from the northern part of France near the Belgium border, while Thierry's origins are deeply rooted in the central provinces of the country. According to Chef Thierry, “I want everyone to feel welcome in my restaurant. We are working against the stereotype that French food must be intimidating and expensive.”

We love Caprice so much that we have dinner there every week. Food and service is outstanding! Their price is very reasonable for the quality and service provided! It is the best restaurant in Wilmington, NC.

Anniversary dinner. The lobster bisque was delicious! The trout was prepared well and the beef bourginon was a large portion and so tender. The profiteroles were a perfect ending to our dinner.

Always reliably excellent food. Love the flounder and shrimp special! Decor feels like an authentic French bistro. Our favorite Wilmington restaurant for date nights or with friends.

Caprice Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Chef/owner is from Lyon France and his wife is responsible for the front of the house. Together, they present a wonderful evening. Never disappoints !
