   Overall wasn’t bad, it was my father’s 57th birthday so it was supposed to be extra special, I thought this would’ve been the perfect place but it wasn’t. Drinks was good food was good however I ordered the 45 oz porterhouse and after I ordered it manager came back and told us it wasn’t some out as well as the lobster Al Diablo pasta wasn’t available which was extremely disappointing but since it was my fathers birthday I didn’t want to make a big fuss so they won’t feel how bad things was going But the pasta was good and baked clams were good service wasn’t so well busser asked us to keep our utensils after all the apps we had I told her Absolutely not please clean out table and fresh utensils , no one wants to use the same utensils that been sitting with food residue from apps and she seemed upset when I told her to please reset the table how a normal service should go

   Not nys best Italian, but lively environment and big portions. Had to wait 45 mins to be seated, with a reservation. Very noisy.

   We went for my daughter’s Birthday. Originally had a reservation for 6 they immediately accommodated us for 7. Security at the door, good choice. He was a gentleman and he set the tone of the restaurant being warm and friendly. My In laws came from Brooklyn and they are quite elderly but were able to walk up a few stairs. Table was big enough for all of us. Hugo our waiter was top notch and didn’t miss a bit. Food came out quickly. The calamari and tomatoe and mozzarella salad was excellent, our main dishes even better, Penne a la Vodka, chicken parm, meatballs and chicken scallopini. All served hot and enough to feed all 7 of us and we brought the rest home. The atmosphere was excellent as well. Good vibe.

   Not the same as 42nd street. The service was terrible. My dad ordered.a beer didn’t get it until after we informed 2-3 waiters. (Over 30 min). Ordered shrimp parmigiana it was extremely salty. We had left overs and were missing my dad eggplant parmigiana that was barely touched. Instead received not even a 1/3 of salad. Do not recommend this location.

    Carmine's has been one our favorites in New York and we were looking forward to this reservation. Unfortunately, last night was our first very disappointing experience at Carmine's. Our waitress was completely non-attentive. We waited forever for refills and never even received 2 lemonades that were ordered. The food to our surprise was also disappointing. It was bland and unremarkable. Overall a waste of $400.
