Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties. Join us for Happy Hour at our Bar!

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Seated promptly upon arrival. Was able to add a guest the day before. Food was excellent. Noise level was excellent. A individual in our party has a sensitivity to loud noise. She did not complain they seated us in a smaller area. Thanks again! See you soon!

Carmines was recommended for us for Christmas lunch and we are so grateful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had a fantastic day and I would highly recommend Carmines to anyone.

We plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.

I had changed my reservation on the same day so I was very grateful to the young lady who was able to get us in earlier, and she was very nice & helpful on the phone. We were sat immediately and the restaurant was very festive. We had a great, attentive waitress, Sara. I was disappointed in the food I have to be honest, Our Caesar was way overdressed and our entrees were not hot at all when they arrived at the table, like maybe they sat in the window for a while? Carmines was always a family favorite when the kids were younger, the portion size has noticeably shrunk (two large chicken parms that we had to cut to share and weren't enough for all) which I totally get but had I known we would have ordered differently. Gone the days where they arrive at your table with fresh ground pepper & parm cheese. Still a cool place to visit, but not as good as it used to be in my opinion.

Big restaurant felt like we were shuffled through and they were just trying to turn tables. Food was ok but nothing special and for the price definitely not worth it. We ate here because so many people recommended it and I honestly don't know why. I won't go back.

Lovely as always. This is our family tradition to visit when we come over Christmas. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is festive, lively. Highly recommend, will continue to visit!

the pasta marinara was insanely good!! they didn’t have the penne pasta i wanted however the lovely waitress offered me another pasta and it was amazing!
