Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties. Your safety is our priority. DC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Still the most festive Italian meal in DC. The new manager Kevin continues in the great tradition of his predecessor Mario. The eggplant parmigiana was outstanding, as usual.

This was the third time I have eaten at this restaurant, and the first time that the service was not very good. The waiter we had seemed dismissive and uninterested in our having a good dining experience. My companion thought this might be explained by our being elderly ladies who do not drink. The restaurant was not at all crowded and there seemed to be enough staff on hand.

Carmines has become a Christmas tradition and yesterday didn’t disappoint. We had plenty of delicious food, a waitress who was attentive but not overbearing. a table that allowed for conversation and time to enjoy our dinner.

Arrived early and waited at bar for service and less than 10 minutes called to be seated. Servers were energetic and helpful.

Always a good time and the consistency between restaurants is evident. We just returned from their location in Vegas and the experience was remarkably similar.
