Chart House Waikiki was founded in 1968 by world-renowned waterman Joey Cabell. It is the only independently owned Chart House existing in Hawaii, though 24 additional locations exist throughout the continental United States. Chart House Waikiki was founded on the principle of providing an authentic Hawaiian hospitality experience incorporating great food, exceptional service, and unparalleled views. Known for its seafood, steaks, ribs and iconic marina vistas, it remains a cornerstone of Waikiki dining. Enjoy our beautiful new monkeypod wood bar and indulge in timeless classics like the famous Garlic Steak, tender Filet Mignon, and savory Ahi Mignon. I held my father's 70th birthday for 15 people here, and it was the best experience from beginning to end. I worked with Kylie to plan, and she made the process super easy, she was responsive, flexible, and really accommodating. The servers for the night were Steven, Maui, and Makana, and they were phenomenal. We were able to create a unique pre-fix menu, and every item that was ordered was perfect. I can't express it enough, how wonderful it was. The only complaint i would have was that we couldn't hear the live music, but we were busy talking to really notice.

Great experience, amazing food, awesome service!! Sashimi, Mahi-mahi and prime rib were excellent! Will definitely return, it’s a good place for special occasions.

The quality of the food was not what we remembered from previous Charthouse dining over 45 years. Waiter was nonplussed, wore a dirty shirt at first serve and didn’t tell us why our meal was delayed. The “New York” steak was so tough, I couldn’t get a decent bite without fat and gristle. My husband’s coffee was served lukewarm. Sorry we dined here.

We’re so glad the Chart House is back! What a wonderful way to celebrate fun times spent here long ago for our 30th anniversary! The card, complimentary dessert and well wishes by all attentive servers, along with live music, delicious food and drink made for a memorable and delicious dinner experience!

The restaurant recently opened up after renovation. The ambience and service was great, but the food quality is average. The King salmon had a nice presentation but was a little bland. The veggies had a weird taste that I couldn’t put my finger on, it was almost like butane. I hope it was just something that was off that night.

Our waiter, Tony, was excellent as well as the 2nd server (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name). They were very attentive and the other staff were very nice. The 3 course Surf Break menu was worth it, but not exceptional. The escargot was smothered in butter and delicious. This restaurant is family friendly, but noisy. Beautiful spot overlooking the Marina when the shades are open. Unfortunately, 3.5% fee is added to the bill if you use a charge card.

予約をしたていたのでスムーズに入店する事ができ、日本語のできるスタッフがこまめに困っている事が無いかを聞きに来てくれ、安心して食事を楽しむ事ができた。また、ヨットハーバーが見える眺めの良い窓際の席を押さえてくれており、同行者も大変喜んでいた。次回も利用したいと思う。

Escargot were the bomb!!! So very tasty. Kris our server was so knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting different choices on the menu and I ended up with the RIB EYE STEAK and that was the best I've had. The whole party enjoyed the pupus, drinks, foods and supa friendly server and bus guy!!! We WILL be BACK!!!
