A really delicious lunch from the Prix Fixe menu. We would initially have liked the a la Carte option, but we found things we liked and for me, the Gravadlax, rib-eye steak and tarte tatin were all glorious. My friend said her calve's liver and bacon dish was sublime. All washed down with a couple of glasses of excellent wines (her) and fabulous red grape juice (me). We'll be back very soon.

Food excellent but very noisy as restaurant was full. We also announced before our visit that it was a special visit for my sons birthday as the restaurant asked when we booked and the restaurant did nothing to celebrate the event

We have been using CL for a few years as a family. We had a very pleasant evening as ever, although we felt the food was a little under par. However, CL remains a family favourite and well worth visiting.

Cozy, little place a little dated and we're squeezed in the a corner so not much room, food and service were lovely.

Been coming here for 20+ years. Lovely little place. Get a window table. Authentic French food. Courteous staff. Beautiful views in daytime.
