Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night! Chop is located near the Vancouver International Airport and beside the Sandman Signature hotel. We’re only minutes from the River Rock Casino Resort and the Vancouver Skytrain.

    Chop has ample parking available directly adjacent to the facility. All parking in the surrounding hotel is completely free for 3 hours upon license plate registration at one of the kiosks in the parking lot. Handicap parking is also available immediately in front of our restaurant near the entry.

Chop’s lounge is a favourite place for groups to come together and meet for lunch, after work or kicking off the evening. At Chop we’re celebrating Happy Hour in our lounge from 3pm to 6pm and again at 9pm to close, seven days a week! Enjoy enjoy snacks of small plates that you can mix and match and find your new favourite bar drink with our $5 drink specials. Smart casual is the name of the game when it comes to dress code – come to see and be seen!

    First time at Chop. We ordered the bread to start and it came ice cold in the center and the outside wasnt even warmed up. They kindly exchanged it for a second one but it arrived with the center still cold as well. The 3rd one arrived hot on the outside but the inside was still cold. I assume the bread was previously frozen. Took 3 tries and they still couldnt get it right. Waited over 20 minutes to finally get out bread. They did apologize and didnt charge us the $3 bread but it wasn't the best experience to be honest.

    The front desk staff (hostess station) was dismissive, distracted and generally disinterested in taking guests names as several parties walked in at 6pm with a reservation and were promptly...ignored. However, once we reached our table, Kiana was superb. She was an extremely attentive, interesting, knowledgeable server who found ways to engage with us and she made our whole dining experience feel special. She more than made up for the dismal first impression of the hostesses.

    Service, ambiance absolutely top notch. Steak (med rare) and cake a bit dry but tasty. Sauce and sides were very good. I would go back, but would try rare next time.

    Alicia, our server was exceptional. Friendly, fun, attentive without being overbearing and very accommodating. The spring rolls were delicious!! Loved the adobo broth, the tenderness of the braised beef as well as the wrap’s texture. French onion soup always delivers. The black truffle butter on the steak was perfect. Liked that to didn’t feel heavy as truffle usually tends to do. The one miss was the sauce for the mussels was too strong in taste and texture so that it covered up the freshness of the mussels. Or perhaps that was the intention… to cover up the less-than-fresh mussels🤔 Also loved the yuzu limeade! Very refreshing! Overall well done. As expected.

    Very friendly staff and excellent service. Our steak was also one of the best we had in a long time. One of our favourite places to go for steaks.

    We have been to Chops many times and always it has been a memorable experience. Great food and definitely great ambience. Happy to visit again and would recommend.
