A memorable dining experience awaits you as you enter the Christy Hill Restaurant in the center of Tahoe City. The restaurant sits on the shoreline of Lake Tahoe on an elevated embankment offering diners a panoramic vista.     Our dinner experience from checkin to dessert was fantastic. Greeted with smiles and acknowledging the birthday celebration, being seated near the window with a gorgeous view started off the relaxing evening. We started with ahi crudo, bread and lovey kir royale and Negroni. Our entrees were flavorful and the right temperature when delivered. Skirt steak, sea bass and truffle ravioli…just delightful. 27th. Desserts of afergato, bread pudding and French press ended the meal. Fantastic service and attn to detail.

    If Christy Hill was in the Bay Area it would have a Michelin star! Food was excellent and creative, service was top notch, wines were fantastic and a great match for the dishes. 5 out of 5!

    We had our Valentine’s date a day early, and Christy Hill was an excellent choice. Our first chance to try their tasting menu, which is a collection of their small plates or small portions of their main plates. Every dish was very well made, beautifully plated, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of heavy snow falling over the lake while we ate. As an overall summary, the food and service keeps Christy Hill in the top 3 restaurants for Lake Tahoe. Compared to its colleagues, it’s more affordable as well; and definitely reliable. Our menu: Amuse Bouche Raw Ahi Tuna with sweet potato, marinated celery and onion shavings. Really nice, with a hint of a middle eastern spice I couldn’t name that made it memorable. Day Boat Scallop on lentils with gremolata. Perfectly cooked. Winter Raviolis with assorted mushrooms and truffles. Wonderful wine-based sauce to accompany. Duck Confit Dolmas with piquillo pepper, mushroom and pomegranate. Very nice and imaginative recipe. Wagyu Hanger Steak with Sea Urchin Hollandaise and Golden Potato Purée. Really great to see a true handmade foamy hollandaise. My poor senses couldn’t taste the sea urchin component but my wife was enchanted by it. Steak perfectly rare-plus, and a nice braised cipollini onion on the side. Dessert was a simple but really spectacular tasting bergamot panna cotta with some strawberries and raspberries and drops of strawberry coulis. Excellent finish to a lovely dinner.

    Wonderful service (I’d say the best in the North Tahoe area), creative menu, and everything was delicious. Probably my 5th or 6th time here and it never disappoints.

    We ordered the tasting menu, and the food was fantastic! The scallops and steak were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the staff were helpful and friendly.

    We had a wonderful meal at Christy Hill. Celebrated a birthday, and they made the experience special and memorable. The food is incredible, the views of the lake are stunning, and the service is friendly and attentive.

    Excellent tasting 5 course menu and wine paring, Great staff very friendly and excellent service. Beautiful view and ambiance. We will definitely be back .

    Went in for our anniversary. The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in. We were early and they accommodated us at the bar no questions asked. The bartender, was very friendly and on top of the wine list and was full of great information. Once we were seated, the waitress was very friendly and catered to all of our needs. This was the first time I’ve ever experienced going to a Restaurant them knowing it was your anniversary and having it addressed by three different people! They really made the night feel about us even with it being a packed restaurant the whole night. The food was absolutely delicious! The Experience was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back and we will highly recommend this restaurant!!
