We specifically asked for one of the side rooms which I knew would be less noisy and it was! Beautifully decorated for the holiday. Food yummy. Service good but took a little extra time to be served our entrees this time. One of our very favorite restaurants!

It is a lovely restaurant and our server (Gomez?) was excellent. The food, however was uniformly poor. Low quality fish (explains the very reasonable prices). The shrimp in the shrimp cocktails were tiny and tasteless. I’ve concluded after several visits that this is a value place, nice environment and moderate prices if you don’t mind really low quality food.

I ordered pricey stone crabs ($36 per) I expected very large claws…not! The claws were not cracked appropriately! Had to send them back to be cracked more. They had a faint fishy odor. There was no bowl to place the cracked shell. My daughter had a filet and a lobster tail that was very good. Steak was a tad undercooked but very tasty.

Despite the busy holiday crowd, the service and food were exceptional. Chuck was informative and knowledgeable about the menu selections and was an attentive, gracious server. City Fish is consistently fabulous! Highly recommend the Clams Casino, Crab Fritters, Skillet Seafood Newburg, and the Stuffed Flounder. It was our first time trying those particular menu items, and they were delicious! The Crab Fritters were so good that I could have feasted on only them and been ecstatic!

First time for us. Service was very sluggish. Everything we requested took a very long time to reach us. Ordered main lobster & Alaskan king Crab. Lobster was served, no melted butter, missing lobster fork, no cracker even if it was cracked already. By the time the butter came, my lobster was cold. We had to request bread for the table, waiter seemed surprised we asked???? Maybe his 1st day on the job??? You be the judge.
