   Cliff House is second to none in our humble opinion. We have had the privilege of dining at Cliff House on several special occasions, and we are always overwhelmed by how wonderful our experience is. From the setting, to the ambiance, to the service, and overall food quality, Cliff House is truly special.

   Top experience at the Cliff House. This is a "Historic Hotels of America" place and it deserves it. Staff was excellant and very helpful. Valet was quick and responsive and didn't wait for a tip each time he brought up our car (good because we were in and out frequently). You can walk down to the main drag for shopping and eating. They had a nice breakfast spread. Our room was supburb if not a bit chilly (old building after all). I did find the extra heater on the last day. Fireplace was nice. We had dinner one night and that was great. Recommended.

   A nice old inn with a formal dining room. We were the only people in the restaurant for a late lunch. Service was ok, but not exceptional, especially considering we were the only customers. The food was good, though the chef was a little heavy on the salt for our tastes on both dishes (a pasta dish and a brisket). The area of Manitou Springs is lovely and it was a nice relaxing lunch.

   What am amazing experience. The food was so good..cooked to perfection. Service was great. Geoffrey knew his food, advised us on choices and made the night great

   We attended the Duckhorn wine tasting dinner, and it was absolutely amazing! The ambience was wonderful, the food was excellent and the wine was paired very well. I highly recommend!

   We decided to try the 1999 Prime Rib Special only offered in March for locals to enjoy their home rown restaurant. The food and service were outstanding and the wine list extensive. It helped that we read upon on the history of this iconic estate so we could enjoy the ambience provided by it's local connection to the building of Manatou Springs

    We heard about the prime rib special they were having & were looking forward to trying it. Sadly, it was quite disappointing. The prime rib was the thickness of a breakfast steak (about 1/4”). We ordered it med. rare and yet it was stringy and challenging to cut with a steak knife. The dessert was equally disappointing. We took a chance and ordered a tea-flavored crème brûlée — it was lacking “crème” and was soupy; the tea flavoring was not appealing. On a positive note, the service was very good.
