Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Details Pre-Theatre, dining experience of 1 hour 45 minutes. Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

Zugegeben ist das Restaurant nett dekoriert, das war es aber. Wir sassen oben, draußen hatte es 2 grad Celsius und innen war es sehr kühl . Wir baten das Personal das Gebläse auszuschalten, woraufhin für circa 2 Minuten die Heizung anging. Nach 2 Minuten war sie wieder aus und es war kalt. Als Vorspeise hattest die Maccerini. Auch kalt und geschmacklos. Insgesamt kein schöner Abend

The food was absolutely incredible (we had the tasting menu with wine paring). The service was friendly but a little disorganised and slow - We had to wait 20 minutes for each of the last two courses. Other diners had their food considerably quicker than us. We were also given wine for the next course before having the prior course delivered. Ambience was lovely as always. Overall a lovely dinner, but for the £320 price tag, the service wasn't great (we probably would have complained at the time but had another reservation immediately after).

Delightful lunch catching up with my sister and brother in law. Food was as ever superb and delicious. Staff were all attentive, courteous and polite. A complete joy. Thank you. See you soon hopefully.

Nice place, sadly we were sat by the entrance and hence didn’t get to see or take in the full experience.

I’ve eaten here on a few occasions now and each time it has been a delightful experience, not to mention the food they serve is picture perfect and delicious! This time I brought a few of my friends as part of a jolly, the ambiance was perfect, the Christmas decor was out in full glory and the once again the food was exceptional, in particular the braised Herefordshire beef orgasmic! Clos Maggiore was brimming with customers, so much so we had to wait a little for our table. However by way of compensation we were treated to a really delicious glass of Prosecco which successfully sweetened the deal. My only niggle was that the sommelier was a little busy which meant the experience of timing the wine to the plate wasn’t spot on but in fairness the restaurant was packed! So overall we all had a really lovely time!

Unfortunately after a previously lovely visit we experienced cold food on this visit. Both our starter and main came out cold. We forgave the starter thinking it was a blip but then the main came and we both ate cold, poorly cooked fish. It was sent back to the kitchen and returned to us by this point we didn’t particularly want to eat it. The bill was reduced slightly by one of the main courses being removed but it was an extremely disappointing pre-theatre meal.
