Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Details Pre-Theatre, dining experience of 1 hour 45 minutes. Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

    Great place and good food but the room was horribly cold and despite the efforts from the waiters the fact that the ceiling window was open at all times let the cold wind enter all night and guests including other tables were complaining as everyone had to wear jackets or jumpers to withstand the cold. Impossible to enjoy despite the magnificent ambient

    It is a beautiful welcoming venue. The only downside was it became cold from time to time but it was exceptionally cold outside too. The food was wonderful and the staff were so friendly. A huge thank you to them

    This is a beautiful restaurant, with wonderful food, courteous & accommodating staff, gorgeous surroundings & an overall great experience. A real gem in Covent Garden.

    I had been wanting to dine with Clos Maggiore for a long time now. Unfortunately, my expectations were so high that the dinner ended up being quite disappointing! There is a lot of hype surrounding this place but sadly, we didn’t get to experience it fully. The first let-down was the table that we were given, which was in a smaller room next to the bar so lacking all the charms of the main dining room and the fireplace in it. Also, the dinner service felt quite rushed! Dishes literally came out a few minutes after ordering and we were done with starter and main within 50 minutes of our arrival: not what I’d expect from this type of dinner unfortunately. The service was also somewhat impersonal and rushed: it felt as if the main goal was turning round tables as quickly as possible… To be fair, the food was excellent although the slow-cooked beef was a bit too salty.

    I do not expect to be rushed at the end of my meal during a fine dining experience. The seating area smelled of cigarettes and unpleasant smells from the lounge. It was cold in the area where we were sat.
