Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Details Pre-Theatre, dining experience of 1 hour 45 minutes. Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

    Used to be one of our favourite restaurants but now became a tourist trap. Portions can’t make smaller, wines minuscule amount. Tuna was accompanied with some hard vegetables, almost sour, monkfish was a tiny but tasty piece but again with some sides that don’t go together, desert tasteless.

    We celebrate double birthday at clos maggiore. It’s very cozy place with a fireplace. The waiter was very friendly and Food was really tasty. They gave us a little chocolate birthday cake. It was very kind thank you! Nothing complaint.

    First visit to this beautiful restaurant. The service from when you arrive to when you leave was exceptional. Catered for GF which is a bonus too. The food was superb and the champagne and wines were perfect. Definitely somewhere to go for a special occasion or a romantic night out.

    It was our Wedding Anniversary lunch at Clos Maggiore, and we were given a warm welcome, starting from the cloak room. The lunch menu had a good selection of dishes, to everyone's taste. The dishes of our choice were deliciouse and also beatiful to look at. The menu included a glass of very pleasant sparkling wine, and we also enjoyed a bottle of one of our favourite reds chosen wit the help of our waiter from a vast wine menu. The coffee was served with exquisite little cakes plus a chocolate anniversary greeting. We look forward to our next visit.

    The restaurant is both elegant and relaxed with just enough fine dining atmosphere which makes for a lovely environment to be apart of. The service and sommelier is second to none with no worry or uneasy feelings. Very approachable fantastic recommendations all around. Being in the service industry myself I can’t fault the restaurant or its service staff. They really pull out all the stops to make a special day magical. Can’t thank you enough! We will be returning 10/10

    Clos Maggiore is a treasure that we stumbled upon a few years ago and have been back to regularly, just the two of us, on special occasions, treating each other to it on our respective birthdays. The food is excellent, the choice superb, the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful, but never too "in your face". The atmosphere is just wonderful. I have sat in their conservatory, a high-ceilinged space bedecked with blossoms, branches and fairy lights, and felt as if it were heaven's anteroom. It imbues a great feeling of peace and well-being. But, even if you can't get into the conservatory, there isn't a bad seat in the house. We've been sat upstairs on occasion and it still feels like a private club, wonderfully intimate. I recommend this to anyone in search of that somewhere special. I already can't wait 'til the next birthday!
