I booked a table at Clos 3 months ago and I was very excited about the reservation, but the overall experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Starting from the entrance - I understand it was busy, but the check in for reservation and coats was messy and poorly managed. Then, the table wasn't ready (which is totally fine), so we were asked to wait in the lobby and given drinks menu. We waited 10 minutes hoping for someone to get our orders, but nobody came. After 15 minutes waiting, we saw the waiters preparing the table right after the lobby. At our surprise, we were invited to come in and to sit at that table. How's it possible that this was the only table available for a reservation that was made 3 months ago? Because new guests were coming into the lobby frequently, the door was often open and I had cold air on my neck. We were approached by a first waiter who asked if we wanted some water to start, and we asked if there was another table available. He never came back. We got served by a second waitress who also asked if we wanted some water. Clearly they didn't communicate. It was then time for drinks. I liked the ingredients of a mocktail on the menu but I wanted it with gin. To my surprise, the waitress said she couldn't do it because she couldn't add the expense on the bill (?). She then came back and said it was indeed possible. Then, another waitress showed up and told us that a table inside could free up for dessert (1 hour). When it was time for dessert, we asked for the table inside but we were told there wasn't any table available. I had just finished my dessert thinking about getting a liquor when the waitress brought the bill to the table. I paid and left, feeling not very welcomed to stay. Because another table was asked to leave and new guests were coming in, we had to wait in the lobby for a few minutes to get out. Finally, the lady at reception retrieved our coats and literally put them in them in my arms without offering any help.
