Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Details Pre-Theatre, dining experience of 1 hour 45 minutes. Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

    Having eaten here before we had high expectations- would have 5 stars for the previous visit. Somethings changed in a negative way with the food. Scallops were ‘marinaded’ which actually meant ceviche- slimey texture with no taste other than the fruity kumquat. The lamb medallion was a bit tough and tasteless, but the accompanying hotpot was amazing which should have been the centre star. The red mullet was just ok- nothing special in taste and a rather weak tasting bouillabaisse sauce. Sides of mash and veg were v good. Wine choice advice was excellent. Service was lacking compared to last time.

    My friend and I went here and chose from the pre-theatre menu. There was only one vegetarian option (cauliflower) so I chose that and my friend had the pork chop and we shared the mash. I then had one of the chocolate deserts. The food was so delicious and very heartwarming. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable when we asked about food options and wine. I will definitely be visiting again! We really enjoyed our time here. Only area of improvement would be to have more vegetarian options on the pre-theatre menu.

    Food excellent and ambience wonderful. Unfortunately it was ruined by being totally ripped off of a set meal, two courses for £37.50. They added a surcharge of £8 each on the starter ( cos it had truffle in ) and the main course lamb option again, totalling 2 x £16, £32 !! on top of the bill. To be honest it totally ruined the meal for my birthday and left a sour taste of being ripped off. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years but not again. If lamb is expensive don’t have it as option for the set meal but don’t rip people off with a £16 supplement for two. Really angry.

    Whole wonderful experience. Since you get into de dinning room. The fire place, the flowers, the service, the food, the wine...everything is an unique experience that you don´t forget. Once a time you should to know one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world. Thanks!!
