   For many, many years, this has been one of our favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach . Vegetarian entree is always excellent. Alvin and his staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. Fits into the hidden gem category as well as being a nice place for dinner for two.

   OMG! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Maria, our server was fantastic. She was very patient, friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to dine.

   This was our second time at Cobalt Grille. Our server was great, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was better than expected for a Friday night. It was still quiet and felt somewhat private as we celebrated our anniversary. We ordered she crab soup, baked goat cheese, fish and chips, chicken penne pasta, creme brulee, and dip sum doughnuts. We also had Macallan 15 and they even had zero alcohol beer. We will continue to recommend this place and cannot wait to dine again.

   Historically, the kitchen has had difficulty preparing and serving food at its appropriate temperature. This visit confirmed the same. They also cannot seem to synchronize sides with main dish readiness. Disappointing.

   If you are looking for a restaurant where the food is always great, then Cobalt is your go to. Tried a new dish ( for me) which is also gluten free, and it was a grand slam in taste, presentation and blend of flavors. Shrimp and scallop risotto. To say it was amazing is selling it short. We had the pleasure of having Arden as our server. She is more than that. She has full knowledge of wine pairings and loves helping and answering any and all questions. Thank you cobalt for a perfect evening. ❤️
