We are an interactive culinary environment.

At our restaurant we create and interpret the culinary ideas inspired from different cultures, products, and techniques. Our always evolving menu is a result of the interaction and interchange of different experiences.

An open kitchen, eclectic and without limitations.
Because cooking is our passion.

Historically cooking evolved through the interaction and exchange of cultures. Through this premise and advances in technology our project, Cocina Abierta, was born, designed for the sharing and development for our passion.

At the school we offer cooking classes for cooking aficionados. We reveal all of our secrets and we create the dishes shown on our website and blog.Cocina Abierta also offers a boutique deli with a selection of homemade gourmet products. You will find a selection of breads from around the world and variety of jams, artisanal cheeses and meats, chutneys, and pates. Sweets, chocolates, and baked goods are available.

I've never been at the restaurant where I was asked to order everything all in once because according to our server she was " about to get busy with the other tables" .So we had to decide on everything right away..Very odd, especially when we were not doing course meal, but a la carte. We found a lot of sand in our clams that came with the fish( clearly not properly cleaned) and brought it up to our server and she just awkwardly laughed at us...Not a response I want to hear at the upscale place. I brought my friend there and it was just embarrassing to have an experience like that tbh..

Would not recommend, the food was not worth the price. The service wasn’t great either. The whole experience took 2.5 hours the food came out so slowly and the waiter was no where to be found most of the time. After paying he came back and asked why the tip was so low. There are better spots on the island with better service.

Excellent tasting menu with options for each course. Portions were not as small as staff advised. Dishes that we had ranged from good to excellent. Our waiter, Eric was excellent.

Amazing food and ambience. Perfect for special occasions and date nights. All food courses really impressed me. Definitively, I will come back. Recommendations: wood chairs so hard for two hours dinner experience and I would like a little more explanation of food courses when arrived at table.
