We are an interactive culinary environment.

At our restaurant we create and interpret the culinary ideas inspired from different cultures, products, and techniques. Our always evolving menu is a result of the interaction and interchange of different experiences.

An open kitchen, eclectic and without limitations.
Because cooking is our passion.

Historically cooking evolved through the interaction and exchange of cultures. Through this premise and advances in technology our project, Cocina Abierta, was born, designed for the sharing and development for our passion.

Cocina Abierta is a restaurant and school.

We reveal all of our secrets and we create the dishes shown on our website and blog.Cocina Abierta also offers a boutique deli with a selection of homemade gourmet products. You will find a selection of breads from around the world and variety of jams, artisanal cheeses and meats, chutneys, and pates. Sweets, chocolates, and baked goods are available.

Hard to think of a better dining experience. We will always try and get a table at CA when we are in town. Amazing food. Best cocktails we have had yet on the island. Great service — Megan and the whole server team were wonderful! And fantastic value for the money. An absolute gem.

Amazing from start to finish! Hard to pick a favorite course. The Tonka Truck drink is a must have! I’m still dreaming about it!

Cocina Abierta is one of our go-to special occasion places. They offer a five course prix fixe menu with the options for each course. The courses can be ordered separately if desired. The chef focuses on local and native produce and the menu changes frequently. They also offer cocktails and wine by the glass, or a well-chosen wine pairing (strongly recommended).

Food is really good! I don’t eat mushrooms but I find the sauce made with mushroom pretty delicious. Maybe the beefsteak is a bit salty but it’s fine overall.

Cocina Abierto was exquisite! From greeting to the intimate ambience, excelelnt service, thorough explanation, rapt attentiveness, the meal was everything I could have wished. The portions were perfectly sized to leave you satisfied and lead up to the last act ready to experience the final dish. I'll definitely be back to have another experience here.

The outdoor patio is right on the street. The indoor venue is modern, food and menu ok but a bit overpriced given the overall experience and location

The good : Well curated menu, every single act was well prepared and well executed, and our waiter Eric was thoroughly informed on the wine pairings in addition to the plates! The bad : Reserved ahead of time, and once checked in, the table was not ready, and when I asked if we could come in due to extremely high wind , was told it was too busy when you could clearly see there were several open tables including the bar, and had to wait another 10 minutes before finally being seated. Not a good look.

Food (including dessert) has amazing flavours and textures. Wildcard Cocktail was excellent! And good selection of wines. Service (esp, the bartender with beard) was topnotch and knowledgeable. Overall great experience!
