Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned and operated for 115 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine. Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room. Choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella a la Valenciana, Roast Pork a la Cubana and fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

    Our favorite place to eat while in the Tampa area, we go at least once every Christmas vacation. REAL sangria made at your table - NOT just fruit juice and wine! The 1905 salad is a favorite, and I tried the bean soup for the first time - delicious. The white chocolate bread pudding is a MUST for dessert. I've never had anything less than wonderful here.

    On Noise level, it was mid day New Years Day so we understand that, however, the kids running around the restaurant and screeching was a bit much. Service was good, however, it was a surprise that the server wanted to hang out and talk with us. He said he was surprised that I had been there about 100 times... I've lived on Sand Key since 96, and I've had him at least a dozen times, yet he said he had never seen me. Three times my client told him he didn't want red meat, and 3 times the server recommended a meat dish. He could have sold him a fish dish if he had focused on it, instead he got a simple salad order.
