Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned and operated for 115 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine. Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room. Choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella a la Valenciana, Roast Pork a la Cubana and fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

Great service, atmosphere and food. But, too noisy. Hoping to sit outside or come at an “off-hour” next time. Still, a local favorite.

We love this restaurant and always go there when we are in Clearwater. The food is fabulous and the drinks are great and there is always half to go home as the portions are large.

My wife and I went to Columbia at Sand Key last night. We ordered the Spanish portion of the menu instead of the Cuban. The Spanish soup was good but nothing special. For appetizers, we ordered the Stuffed Piquillo Peppers and the Ybor City Devil Crab Croquettes. The piquillo peppers had good flavor, although I never found any Spanish chorizo. The croquettes never came. For the main, we ordered the Paella "Española" (Valenciana). The paella was mediocre at best. It had no saffron, which is the key ingredient in any paella. It seems like they take their yellow rice, which is served as a side in most of their dishes, mix in the other ingredients, and call it paella. I was very disappointed since we had heard good things about this restaurant.

What a wonderful restaurant...decor...view...food. Cuban sandwich is the best and Spanish bean soup was terrific as well as 1905 salad. You will not leave here hungry.
