Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana,"and fresh seafood specialties. Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax outdoors on our patio, or inside our Mediterranean-style dining rooms filled with hand-painted tiles and family heirlooms.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

    The Columbia at St. Armand's Circle has always been our favorite place for lunch when we're in Sarasota. The food is delicious and the service is always professional. We highly recommend the 1905 salad prepared table side. From the classic Cuban sandwich to any of the fish and seafood dishes, you won't be disappointed.

    Tableside pitchers of sangria and mojito prep were entertaining and delicious. All of the food was tasty.

    We always make a stop here at some point during our time in Sarasota, after hearing of the Hurricane damages we were unsure if we would be able to get that Amazing 1905 salad. OpenTable said they were open, everything seems back to normal and we had amazing service from Tom. Cannot wait till we are back again.

    We had an excellent dinner at Columbia's, so glad to see the restaurant hasn't lost any of their charm after the hurricanes. Our server Hayleigh was excellent, she took wonderful care of us, between the drinks, dinners & desserts. Looking forward to going back!

    Kat was an exceptional waitress and made our first experience at Columbia on the covered patio a memorable one. Shrimp Supreme, 1905 salad, scallops, crab cakes were perfect. Sangria was fantastic too!
