Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

The Columbia is located within walking distance of several historic landmarks including Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (the oldest masonry fort in the United States), the Spanish Quarter, Flagler College, and Casa Monica. There are many museums to see, including the Museum of Weapons and Early American History and the Old Florida Museum.

Dissapointing! I was not impressed with The Columbia this time around. After we were seated and given menus, our waiter arrived and said hello. We ordered soup and salad and it came out 2 minutes after we were given our bread. The soup was luke warm and bland. Then 2 minutes after receiving our soup and salad the main entree arrived; which was not hot either. We never got the chance to enjoy our bread, our soup or entree as all of them were cold in the end. It's a shame that the "gettem' in gettem' out" has become the norm here. It was definitely our last time dining here.

The food was just okay, under seasoned and nothing I couldn’t make at home. The paella was especially a disappointment, the signature flavors of saffron and paprika were missing. Nice ambiance but very loud (could have been elevated by the party next to us with multiple empty sangria pitchers on their table lol). So while nothing was terrible we won’t be back, there are much better options in St Augustine, especially at that price!

Seated immediately. Waiter greeted us promptly, was cheerful, and knowledgeable about the menu. He prepared the sangria and 1905 salad at our table. Waiter checked on us regularly throughout the meal and wished us safe travels as we were leaving. Overall a nice experience.

We came to celebrate my girlfriends birthday...the staff was very accommodating with getting us a great table and the server Shane was very knowledgeable in making recommendations. The house made sangria was delicious as was the calamari and the caneloni de langosta.

The 1905 salad mad table side was amazing, as were our entrees and the spelling cava sangria! Our server was excellent as well. So glad we finally made it here!
