Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

    A very special restaurant. We were seated upstairs and had an early dinner reservation (5:15) so the restaurant was not crowded yet. The white sangria was fruity and delicious. Of course we started with the 1905 salad that Martin our waiter completed tableside. My husband had the filet, which was tender and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try dishes that I don’t eat everyday so I ordered three tapas dishes; empanadas, stuffed mushrooms and pincho mixta which was marinated meat on skewers. All were very tasty. We brought quite a bit home and will enjoy for lunch tomorrow. My husband loves bread pudding and he had to try it. It was served warm and was topped with chocolate chips and had a delicious rum and vanilla sauce. It was really a lovely evening.

    If this had been my first experience at Columbia it would have been my last. I’ve eaten here several times and it has always been wonderful. This trip was awful. The steak was over cooked twice and the third attempt of macaroni and cheese was inedible. The service left a lot to be desired. Our servers had a major attitude and we had to ask for basics several times

    It took more than 20 minutes after being seated for our server to come by and bring water. Our food came at the same time as the warm bread that was promised when we received our drink order. The bread was worth the wait.

    Had 1pm reservation for 2. Had to check on reservation at 1:20 as we were never called. Service was VERY slow. Very disappointed.

    Both chicken dishes we ordered came out cold and had to be sent back . Even second time wasn’t completely hot but got sick of waiting . My son’s fries were so seasoned he couldn’t eat them . Salad was lacking (and that’s the main reason we go) we were celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday and 2 people came to sing and it was quiet . Overall not what we expected from Columbia for the price .

    With how great the food was when we visited the Columbia in Tampa, we were shocked how terrible the service and food was just ok. One entree came out cold, and the other was ok but not good. Definitely won't return to this location. Server was terrible, saw her in the beginning when we ordered. (And that started out not so great as we sat there for about 15 mins before she came to greet us/ take our drinks) and then we had to ask someone else for her to get us our check. Never came by to even see if the food came out correctly.

    Excellent food and service. Everyone was very happy. Crazy busy with Night of Lights crowd but everything was smooth thanks to booking in advance.
