Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

The Columbia is located within walking distance of several historic landmarks including Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (the oldest masonry fort in the United States), the Spanish Quarter, Flagler College, and Casa Monica. There are many museums to see, including the Museum of Weapons and Early American History and the Old Florida Museum.

High sodium meals and very spicy foods. Not too many options available for vegans or people with GI problems such as GERD, IBS, Chron's Disease, etc. For example: not available a Grilled Chicken Breast that is basic.

I’ve been to Columbia restaurant several times. Each experience is phenomenal. I love their Pollo Monchengo and bread pudding. Love, love their food!

We had a wonderful dining experience for New Years Eve. Staff was very friendly and service was quick! The 1905 salad is AMAZING!! Meal was delicious as it always is when we go. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas too. Our server , Faith, was wonderful!

Wonderful experience and great food, but experience was ruined at the end. When it came time to pay the bill we provided a $100 Visa card and my husbands credit card for the difference in the bill. Our server came back to say that the manager of her section said could not accept the gift card with some ridiculous excuse that it would “jeopardize” the tip for the waitress (????) it made no sense as the tip we were planning to add to the bill would be based on the totality of the bill. We were appalled. We decided to pay, leave and told our wonderful server that we need not speak to her section manager but he/she needed some training on professionalism. Mind you the gift card from Visa was legitimate and fine, and in fact we used it last night later to pay for drinks at the club we went after to celebrate new years with friends. Anyway, this made what had been up to that point a good dining experience a bummer! Mind you a very nice person in the table next to us told us to complain further and higher up which we will be doing to Visa and one of the owners of Columbia restaurants who lives in Tampa and happens to have other business with a close friend. FYI - nowhere in the restaurant was there a sign stating they don’t take gift cards.
