Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

The Columbia is located within walking distance of several historic landmarks including Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (the oldest masonry fort in the United States), the Spanish Quarter, Flagler College, and Casa Monica. There are many museums to see, including the Museum of Weapons and Early American History and the Old Florida Museum.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent salad. Ordered old fashioned that said Makers Mark but definitely wasn’t Makers. Kitchen lost the original order so our entrees did not arrive until we were sitting for over an hour. The Grouper Jimmy was excellent but the Pompano en’ poppellet (Fish stuffed with crabmeat) was a 2 out of 10. Menu made no mention on the description about Parmesan cheese but the crab stuffing was loaded with parm. Ok if you like parm. Ugh! Fish was tasteless so not worth the $35 price tag. No sides come with the entrees. Not impressed with the place for this price. No intention of returning.

The food is always outstanding at the Columbia. I didn’t take pictures, I probably take it for granted because I am a local… So easy to make a reservation with OpenTable! I have to give a huge shout out to my server Shane who was the most personableguy ever! Did a great job with the sangria and salad presentation plus he definitely schooled me on some different menu options! He is awesome and if you get a chance to eat at the Columbia in Saint Augustine do yourself a favor and request him!

This experience was alright. We got seated rather quickly after a reservation but the server was a little frantic. The wrong appetizers were brought out after waiting a while which they gave us on the house and then finally gave us the correct appetizers. The meal was alright and my husband’s rice was under done. Had a much better experience a few years ago. Not sure exactly what happened this time around.

beautiful holiday decorations and attentive waitress- but chaotic hostess stand had long wait to get table despite reservation. food was mediocre

Great as usual. I forgot our waiters name, it began with an M, but he was fantastic. Very attentive. My grouper was so good.

My son and daughter in law are visiting from Indiana. They love the Columbia, as of course I do. We can always count on the food to be delicious. The wait staff are top notch and the ambience is beautiful. Always will return to Columbia. Noisy? Yes, but it’s because everyone enjoys and loves being there!!!

Had a super lunch the new pork shoulder suggested by Sean. Great service as always. Wanted to get in before tourist season. Food and service on point as always.

This is a beautiful historic restaurant. The food is outstanding as is the service. As a result it is very popular and reservations are recommended even for lunch.
