The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Experience the Fire of Flamenco!
Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    The sangria and the 1905 salad were very good and we decided to do a selection of tapas and that was a really good call because we got to try several different things! Everything looked amazing but everything we had was very good

    Took forever for server to come to the table. Then he stopped by and said he would be right back. We were there for 30 min with no service, bread or water. Spent the rest of the dinner looking for someone to refill our water. Tiny, child size water glasses. Didn’t order a drink from the bar for fear it would delay our service even more. Seafood cannelloni dish needed a knife (pasta not fork tender) which I could not get anyone’s attention to get one. So when server finally came with water we asked for check. Best part of meal was salad. Server was nice, but not around. Cannelloni was probably good, just never got to taste a full bite without a knife. Used my fork to try to eat the seafood pieces. Had planned key lime pie for dessert, but didn’t want to stay any longer or eat any more without having water. Front desk and host staff wash very friendly and organized. Also, was a big birthday for me- noted in reservation and no mention from anyone.

    The Columbia restaurant is a beautiful place with a lot of history. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waitress was attentive and efficient. The food was delicious, served quickly and with ample portions.

    Always enjoy dining at Columbia. Service was excellent and being in that building is always a special experience. Just need a little more attention to dining room detail and cleanliness to be back up to Columbia long term dining standards.

    Our table was in the doorway, making it busy, hectic, and not conducive for conversation. Our waiter was very nice, but didn’t clear our table or check on us between the appetizers and main course so we weren’t able to replenish our drinks. The food was ok, but was not up to what we expect from the Columbia. I don’t mind paying higher prices for higher quality food; this was a disappointment.

    Made a reservation for 4. Arrived at 350. Told the checked us in. Then waited over 30 minutes to be seated. What is the point of a reservation if we are just put in the line like we arrived without a reservation. Food and table service was as good as normal. Just frustrating over getting seated with a reservation.

    Very disappointed this time. Had a 4pm reservation not seated for over 20 min past said servers were in a meeting. I ordered supposedly the best fish on the menu the snapper Alicante and did not like it at all.
