The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Experience the Fire of Flamenco!
Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    We booked but arrived a little early which was not a problem and were seated quickly. Our waitress, Kris, who was in training was lovely. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The food and service was excellent. We are in the old courtyard area and it had a lovely atmosphere. It was busy but not too noisy. Would recommend the 1905 salad and the white chocolate bread pudding.

    What an outstanding meal! Our server, Courtney, was lovely, always there when we needed her, but never obtrusive. We were a little concerned that the restaurant would be overwhelmed today, and although it was definitely slammed, our service never suffered. All the food was delicious. The shrimp Al ajillo was perfect. Best Palomilla I’ve had in years. The flan was the cherry, or strawberry in this case, on top of the meal. Can’t wait to go again.

    Great place with lots of history and a great ambiance. We found it last time we vacationed in Tampa and had to come back this time. Amanda did a great job of taking care of us.

    Great Spanish restaurant in the heart of Ybor City. So much art and architecture in the building. The restaurant staff were all amazing, friendly and professional. We were blown away by the tastes and the sites. The building has so much character and history. They do have free parking in the lot next to the building. It is a happening place so reservations are encouraged.

    We arrived to the hostess’s warm welcome and were led to the perfect cozy table. Then we met Maria, the world’s most delightful server and we knew we were in for a treat. The history and ambience of this amazing venue sets the stage for a steady stream of culinary delights that surpassed our hopes and impressed the most particular palettes among us. We enjoyed tapas, sangria made tableside, and scrumptious entrees finished off with bread pudding that should have its own address. Every single bite was beyond delicious and we left knowing we made the perfect choice for our New Years Eve dinner.
