The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    Aaron was wonderful and we enjoyed his history lesson of the restaurant. The White Sangria and Mojito was great. Food was excellent, tender, perfect temperature nothing needed to be added. Highly recommend making a reservation, but if you don't it is well worth the wait.

    Beautiful restaurant with an interesting history. Excellent menu and the food was fantastic! Had the 1/2 salad and cup of soup lunch. Choose the black bean soup served over rice. Delicious! After we ate we asked about the restaurant history and the assistant manager gave us a wonderful tour. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

    We did book our reservation weeks in advance and were seated in the bar dining area. The server was excellent but the food came slow.

    Our visit to Columbia restaurant was fantastic. The food was great , I loved the fresh Cuban bread. The portions were really large so much we got our desert to go. Thanks Rick Wells

    We had a very nice dinner at Columbia Restaurant. The restaurant is very large but has many rooms so you get the atmosphere of a smaller restaurant. Our server was very friendly and explained the restaurant history. The food was great. I had the Grouper with crabmeat and my wife had the Eggplant.

    My family and I have been vacationing in the Tampa/Clearwater area for several years and we make it a point to have dinner at Columbia every time we visit. Just a few days ago, January 7 was no exception…except this time it was. The experience was not the one that we were accustomed to. Everything was off, from the front door host to us leaving the restaurant. The host were not inviting nor did they smile. We were seated at a table and a female server came to the table. She had an attitude, didn’t smile or anything. Walked away and then next thing you know we had another female server. She proceeded to tell us that the previous server had to leave and go home. Low and behold we see her serving a few tables behind us laughing and joking with the customers. Didn’t say two words to us and had the other server lie to us for whatever reason. From there we ordered two appetizers. My wife had the large Cesar salad which was the exact same size as my side salad but it came out on an oval shaped plate to give the appearance of a larger salad. We ordered the devil crab croquettes which had literally no crab in them and crab cakes. My daughter had the salmon aurora which she loved so much until this visit. I had a side Caesar with crab stuffed grouper (the portion was incredibly small for $42) shame on the restaurant for that. My wife only had salad and two red sangrias. Lastly my daughter got the churros for dessert. Everything was subpar not even close to what we’ve come to expect from Columbia. Definitely did not warrant the $240 i paid for dinner. Unfortunately for your restaurant this was our last and final time eating there as per the service and food this time was incredibly disappointing. Lastly on our way out the hosts said absolutely nothing to us. Terrible. I honestly would like a refund, that’s how upsetting the visit was. Columbia has literally been my daughter’s favorite restaurant in Tampa for 8 y
